    their honey garlic jokbal was soooo good! the glaze was the perfect level of sweetness we also got their spicy one as well and it was perfect pair my friends got the gamjatang tower and it was definitely impressive

    Absolutely delicious jokbal experience! Jokbal: - perfect amount of fat/meat ratio - super flavourful even for original; if you get the garlic one it also has nice saucy and crispy garlic pieces - comes with unlimited lettuce and sauce, truly will be enough for at least 2 ppl Gamja Tower - fall-off-the-bone meat - spicy and rich pork bone broth - plethora of ingredients including rice cakes, sausages, kimchi, and potatoes - minimum serving of two, so 20x2 The Seasoned Rice Balls were great, such a delicious blend of umami flavours. The Seafood Pancake and Oden were also solid. They sell two types of Korean rice wine that you can take out as well. Overall would recommend for the mouth-watering jokbal. It is slightly pricey but reasonable for the amount of food you can split.

    Delicious spot for jokbal / bossam! Flavour for dishes is on point, very authentic. Good amount of sides, fair value for portion. Service can be a bit slow. Seating is not too tight or spacious.

    Get the spicy Jokbal Super tasty and flavourful!! We had a great time discovering how to mix and match, and eat everything the right/ fun way. I've had Jokbal before, but this was the best I've ever had. It's perfect for sharing together The hosts are nice and the food is awesome. Be sure to give this a try

Their signature jokbal (braised pig’s trotters) is melt-in-your-mouth tender, full of flavor, and perfectly seasoned. The meat is juicy with a nice balance of sweetness and spice, and it pairs so well with the garlic sauce and fermented shrimp on the side. The portion sizes are generous—perfect for sharing with friends or family. We also tried the bossam, which was equally delicious with fresh napa cabbage and spicy radish kimchi. Everything felt homemade and authentic. If you’re a fan of Korean food or want to try something new, Hanyang Jokbal won’t disappoint. Just make sure to come hungry—you’ll leave full and happy!

    Very unique food and experience. Who would think that pork hock is so delicious? Here you can experience it. We ordered half and half of original jokbal and BBQ. The price looks expensive, but the portion was big, enough for 4 of us. We also ordered the seafood pancake, which was very good.

    Came for dinner, food was enjoyable, portion sizes were great, and service was polite and efficient. We had the garlic jokbal, the meat was cooked very well but one thing I didn't realize was the garlic sauce is quite sweet, like honey garlic esque. Likely I would have preferred the original. For sides we had the rice balls which was my favourite, and the teokbokki and cold noodles which were good but both quite spicy. Portion sizes for everything but the teokbokki was great. Restaurant wasn't too busy on a weekday evening and the staff was great with refilling our side dishes.
